I like the photo of the little boy on the ski lift chair. It seems that he likes to ski, and you can tell that it isn't winter anymore and he is probably sad. It's interesting how you can almost feel the emotion by looking at the picture. Also, I like the way that the trees look in the background and how they are out of focus, but still recognizable. K.A.
The picture of the path by the lake interests me. The photographer really took the rule of thirds into consideration when planning and photographing this particular landscape. They also managed to add half of a s-shape (formed by the path) into the piece, creating a nice flow of movement. This photo is really well done! A.E.
I like the first picture on the top because it has a lot of contrast between the sky, the bridge, and the trees in the background. I also like how the trees in the foreground and along the left side create a boarder for the whole photograph. Another neat thing that I like is that the bridge looks like it's disappearing into the trees. The water in the foreground looks calm, but then once you move farther and farther back into the picture it looks like it is moving. B.P.
I liked the photo of the boy on the ski lift because it is off centered and kind of has a shallow depth of field. I also liked how the fence made the photo balanced. M.J
I like the 9th picture down the way the shadows from the arches draw your eye to them. .As well as the long hallway is on the lest vertical line and not the focus of the piece. J.W
I like the picture of the fenced pathway. It is interesting how the photographer tilted the camera to give a different effect on the final outcome. Also I like the use of leading lines with the pathway. C.C.
I like the picture of the draping willow tree. Theres good contrast of black and white and even though its a simple picture it has beautiful detail which makes it unique.
The seventh picture captured my attention with its shallow depth of field. It creates a mysterious mood because the viewer doesn't know what the object is. There are many leading lines that keep the image visually interesting. A.P.
I really like the 5th picture. The road creates an S shape which flows through the landscape very nicely. The couple standing in the background follows the third grid rule. It is very nice. J.C.
The Third picture from the album spring 10' captured my eye not only from the s shape created by the water, but also from the beautiful contrast throughout the entire landscape - L.K.
I like the picture of the hallway with the arches. I like the way the light passes through the arches and is reflected on the ground. The line of the hallway also makes your eye travel through the picture. p.tushabe
I like the first picture. Its neat how the bridge seems to get smaller as you move away from the picture. I like how the arches of the bridge are reflected on the water. I like how the path leads into the water. I also like how the bridge is the focal point.
i really like picture 13 because I like how it seems that you are looking at an upward angle. I also like how the trees are reflecting off the window. The S shape of the stairs really makes it feel like they are leading you into the house. J.B.

ReplyDeleteIn the first picture I like how the bridge is all the way to the left side, and it is clearly divided into three parts. M.Bell

ReplyDeleteI like the way the top of the bridge draws your eyes to the center of the photo also it being black and white sets the right mood for the picture J.M.

ReplyDeleteI like the second Picture . Its artsy how the cabin is run down in the middle of nowhere. The black and white print shows the shadows nicely. N.B
